In the F&F industry, a common buyer concern is whether a 20-ton bulk shipment will match the exact scent profile of the initial 100-gram lab sample. To address this, Boweixin Biotech convened its R&D, distillation, and export sales teams yesterday for a joint meeting on sample-to-bulk product alignment.
The table was set with various production lot samples. Our sales team shared recent client feedback regarding subtle visual and olfactory notes in sensitive esters.
“During industrial scale-up, minor temperature variations on reactor walls can create slight scent shifts compared to lab-scale processes,” our Distillation Lead explained.
To resolve this, the QC department introduced a double-blind sensory protocol. Before packing any export order, a sensory panel will perform a blind evaluation comparing a random bulk sample against the approved reference sample. Shipments will only proceed if the olfactory similarity score exceeds 98%.
“Consistent scent delivery is the foundation of our commercial trust,” concluded the General Manager. This collaborative session strengthens our quality control, ensuring our bulk commercial deliveries match the precise profiles of our initial samples.
